Audit Senior for our NQRS audit quality team (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Your future team

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior, with knowledge of the International Standards on Auditing and relevant local auditing requirements, to endorse the growth of our NQRS audit quality team. Join us and you'll be joining a growing team of NQRS Audit quality team where you will develop best practice and play a key role in helping deliver a high-quality service to our clients.

Your next challenge

• Assisting the Audit Quality functions by taking part in audit quality monitoring and compliance activities, participating into accounting and auditing standards consultations, and providing methodological support to our practitioners
• Establishing relationships with internal stakeholders anticipating audit quality needs, responding to queries, and being alert to both, quality and technical matters, as necessary
• Providing added value for engagement teams and the wider audit practice, supporting them in delivering the 'distinctive client experience' by collating insights and considering their wider communication throughout the firm
• Manipulating and analyzing data quickly and efficiently, mainly using Excel functions and available tools to produce audit quality reports to audit engagement partners and teams, and to Quality management to ensure delivery of high-quality audit work
• Performing examinations on progress status, efficiency and quality of audit files, through Deloitte’s audit quality monitoring and reporting tools
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit quality through participation into joint quality projects with the Audit service line
• Assisting in monitoring and coordinating with audit teams to ensure timely completion of audit quality milestones and provide value added advice to them  
• Assisting in the implementation of System of Quality Management in the monitoring of the internal processes
• Driving continuous improvement through innovation and transformation, embracing change and challenging the way we do things to develop new ways of working
• Participating in the on-going development and continuous improvement of our NQRS audit quality team

Your skills

• Have at least 2 year's experience in audit
• Hold a Master's degree in finance or business and possess at least two years experience in external audit
• Are (or are in progress of becoming) a Chartered Accountant (IRE, DEC, IRE Belge, ACCA or equivalent)
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships
• Are fluent in English and French
