Climate & Sustainability - IT Solution Architect - Senior Consultant / Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solution Architect specializing in ESG systems and architecture.

As digital transformation plays a crucial role in achieving sustainability goals, we are looking for a IT Solution Architect, who will bring its expertise to make a positive impact for our clients, our people, and our planet. In this role, you will help our clients with the design and the implementation of IT solutions that align with an organization ESG priorities.

What will you do :

• Collaborate with clients’ stakeholders to understand business needs and technical requirements
• Apply IT architecture principles to advise clients on their strategic decisions
• Consult with clients on the design and implementation of ESG solutions that align with their strategic objectives
• Advise clients on the evaluation and selection of best-fit solutions for ESG purpose
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and act as a liaison between business and IT stakeholders
• Working closely with IT teams, developers, and other architects to ensure coherent design and implementation, including development of PoC
• Create detailed solution architecture design and document solution blueprint
• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders (e.g., developers, UX/UI designers, business teams, vendors) to help our clients identify, analyse and solve challenging strategic issues
• Contribute to the development of key alliances and partnerships with Sustainability technology providers
• Work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with Deloitte global network
• Benefit from the expertise and experience of recognized industry experts

What about you :

• Master’s degree in Computer, Information management or Engineering
• The preferred candidate will have at least 4 years of experience
• Strong communication skills and an ability to adapt to different contexts and industries
• Demonstrated ability to define, develop, and implement IT architectures taking into account different levels of stakeholders’ maturity for ESG topics (cross-industry experiences will considered as an asset)
• At least one Architect certification is required (e.g., TOGAF)
• Knowledge and understanding of sustainability frameworks and European sustainability regulatory landscape is a plus (CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, etc.)
• Past experiences implementing ESG cloud-based platforms (e.g. SAP ESG module, Enablon, Workiva, Sphera, …) will be considered as a strong asset
• Experience designing and implementing data governance principles will be considered as a strong asset
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Agile delivery (including methods such as SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of data visualisation tools such as PowerBi or Tableau is considered as a plus
• Past experiences acting as a product / platform owner would be considered an asset
• Fluency in English & French. German or Luxembourgish will be considered an asset
