Our Engagement Acceptance Team is seeking an experienced Compliance Assistant Manager to provide firm-wide support. The Engagement Acceptance Team plays a critical role in partnering with Business Teams to ensure that all business development activities are safe, compliant, and aligned with our client and engagement acceptance policies and procedures. Our work spans both professional and reputational risk management, ensuring that all engagements meet Deloitte's standards before acceptance.
We are looking for a candidate with preferably Big 4 experience who is ready to take on a dynamic and high-impact role.

How you’ll contribute to our success 

• Lead and oversee end-to-end compliance and risk processes, including the timely review of service and engagement acceptance files, risk identification, risk mitigation, ongoing monitoring, quality checks, and follow-up actions.
• Organize, manage, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Engagement Acceptance Team, while actively contributing as a member of the Management Team.
• Drive and support various risk and compliance projects as a Project Management Officer (PMO), ensuring deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Business Teams and other Risk functions, building strong relationships and providing expert guidance on engagement acceptance matters.
   

Your skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field, preferably with a focus on Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, compliance, or audit, ideally within a Big 4 or professional services environment.
• Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills, with a natural risk-oriented mindset and a keen attention to detail. Ability to think critically and provide sound, well-reasoned recommendations.
• Proven ability to supervise, develop, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver results within deadlines.
• Full professional fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French and/or German is considered a strong asset.
