Compliance Consultant - Quality & Risk Management

We are currently looking for a Compliance Consultant to join our Advisory and Consulting Group (ACG) Quality and Risk Management Team.
What you will do :
- Review engaement acceptance and continuance activities to ensure adherence to global and local requirements and best practices.
- Review and investigate alerts and exceptions generated by monitoring tools and exception reports; document analyses, track remediation, and close issues within defined SLAs.
- Operate and enhance preventive controls for engagement acceptance.
- Provide timely, practical guidance to engagement teams on the application of independence and acceptance rules (IESBA Code of Ethics, SEC/PCAOB, EU Audit Regulation, and firm policies).
- Produce management information and dashboards (e.g., exception trends, root causes) and present insights and recommendations to QRM leadership.
- Support internal and external inspections and reviews, including evidence preparation, sample walkthroughs, and corrective action planning.
What about you :
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong working knowledge of auditor independence and ethics requirements (e.g., IESBA Code of Ethics, SEC/PCAOB, EU Regulation 537/2014) and hands-on experience applying firm policies to real cases.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC, sanctions, conflicts of interest, and reputational risk screening processes.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and sound professional judgment in ambiguous scenarios.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to assess risks and propose pragmatic, risk-based solutions and safeguards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage case volumes, priorities, and deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Discreet, trusted, team-oriented, and people-focused with a service mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex requirements into clear guidance for non-specialists.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of French or German is a strong asset.
