Conflicts & Compliance Analyst (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Your next challenge

• Performing conflicts checks using the firm's conflicts database, analyzing conflict search results locally and from the network
• Liaising with the business on the matters that may present conflicts. Obtaining relevant information on the matter, if required, in order to mitigate the risk related to the potential conflict.
• Escalating conflicts issues as appropriate with clear analysis of the conflicts and the conclusions reached.
• Maintaining and updating the conflict search database.
• Researching, identifying, and verifying new business relationship partners. Answering queries from the business, manage the mailboxes and escalating urgent queries to the appropriate individual within the team.
• Analyzing and establishing the corporate structure for business relationship partners and tracing up to the ultimate beneficial owners.
• Attributing a risk rating to the business relationship partner and to the relationship the firm wants to enter into.
• Assisting on the on-going monitoring for existing business relationships and updating Due Diligence for existing business relationship partners.
• Assisting on the execution of projects as and when they arise.

Your skills

• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience (preferably in business, finance or accounting)
• Should be able to communicate effectively in English. Working in French or German is considered as an asset.
• Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills with an emphasis on detail
• Capacity to manage priorities and deadlines as well autonomous with a sense of initiative
• You are able to learn quickly and work in a team environment
• You are familiar with the need for confidentiality and discretion
• You are proficient in MS-Office software and ideally SAP
