As part of the Risk Advisory practice, the professionals in our Regulatory Compliance Advisory team (RCAS) are recognised as experts in the market place and within the Deloitte global network, offering a full range of regulatory and compliance advisory services that enable our clients to improve the quality and efficiency of their processes while ensuring full compliance with the latest regulatory requirements.

Your next challenge

As part of the RCAS  team dedicated to Investment Management, Private Equity & Real Estate (IM-PERE) industries, you help our prestigious clients (Investment Fund Managers  e.g. Chapter 15 and 16, AIFM, Specialised PSF, underlying property managers, large investment fund administrators) respecting their regulatory obligations:

• You execute a wide range of Regulatory Compliance advisory mandates with the support of your Manager and team members: No two assignments are the same !
  • Support clients in the preparation of CSSF licence(s) application files to operate in Luxembourg;
  • Identify regulatory compliance risk, gaps and deficiencies and propose mitigating actions;
  • Participate to the preparation of clients for regulatory inspection and to the design and implementation remediation plans;
  • Contribute to the elaboration of Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) and Compliance Monitoring Program (CMP);
  • Provide ad hoc support to regulatory compliance functions;
  • Contribute to the performance of due diligences on behalf of clients;
  • Review and assist in the implementation of strong governance frameworks;
  • Participate to the preparation of training sessions for our clients on diverse regulatory topics applicable to the IM-PERE industry;
  • Support Internal Audit engagements on Regulatory Compliance maters; and
  • Offer bespoke advice and expertise on governance and regulatory matters.
• You provide guidance and coaching to junior team members;
• You participate in the preparation of service proposals and eminence on IM/PERE regulatory hot topics
• You contribute to building a strong team and client relationships; 

Your skills

• Master's degree in business administration, finance, civil engineering or from a business school;
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience within the Investment Management and/or Private Equity-Real Estate industry, preferably in a Compliance, Risk Management, Internal audit role; Consulting & advisory experience ideally in a Consulting/Big 4 firm considered as an asset;
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIA, FRM, CFE…) considered as an asset ;
• Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg/CSSF and European laws, regulations and circulars applicable to IM-PERE industry a must-have;
• Proven creativity with the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions; 
• Excellent organisational skills and focus on delivery;
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills; 
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build strong team and client relationships; 
• Fluent in English and a second language (French or German). Additional languages considered an asset.
