How you’ll contribute to our success

• Participate in end-to-end data flow topics, from requirements gathering to the design and implementation of robust BI solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Collect and prepare data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency and reliability.
• Design and build insightful data visualizations, reports and interactive dashboards (mainly with Power BI / SSRS) to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Design, implement, optimize and maintain SQL stored procedures, views and queries, and contribute to ETL/ELT processes and BI architecture improvements.

Your skills

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data/Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 6–8 years of proven experience in a Data Analyst, Data Engineer or similar role, with strong expertise in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid experience with BI and reporting tools, especially Power BI (Power Query, DAX, row-level security) and SSRS (paginated reports).

Nice to have

• Experience with SSIS and ETL/ELT workflows, as well as concepts such as Data Warehousing, Data Lakes and dimensional modelling (star/snowflake).
• Exposure to Databricks and/or Azure services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database, Data Lake) or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications in data or cloud technologies.

Soft skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex datasets and business contexts.
• Structured, methodical and rigorous approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and strong team spirit, with a willingness to share knowledge and support others.

IT skills

• Advanced T-SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, indexing and optimization).
• Practical experience with data modelling and data analysis for BI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with BI/ETL tools such as Power BI, SSRS and SSIS (or similar tools).

Languages

• Ability to work fluently in English and French on a daily basis.
