Data Scientist Manager / Senior Manager for our Fund Analytics team (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Fund performance, costs and analytics is part of the Consulting Investment Management (IM) & Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) practice, specialized in advisory and reporting solutions primarily for the asset management sector. Our missions include valuation of financial derivative instruments, delivery of risk, performance and costs analytics for investment funds, as well as regulatory risk reporting for investment funds. We also provide advisory quantitative expertise to the banking and insurance industry sector.
We aim to spend minimal time on data processing while we maximize the time spent on analysis and identifying valuable insights. This is where you come into play. As a Data Scientist Manager / Senior Manager, we will expect you to do the following:
- Design and implement data processing controls to analyze financial/accounting data in terms of quality
- Contribute to the Data Management roadmap, vision and strategy
- Reconcile large datasets
- Analyze results and send them to colleagues who are not data specialists
- Be familiar with the latest industry practices and regulatory requirements related to our activities and processes, and formulate appropriate data management methodology
- Develop and train more junior team members on the use of digital solutions
- Build strong relationships both with our clients and with our worldwide network
- Take part in internal and client workshops and projects

Additionally, we would need the following skills and qualifications for this role:
- A degree (Bachelor or Master) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Management, Business Intelligence or Information & Communication Technology
- Minimum 7 years of work experience with at least 4 years’ experience in a position and/or projects involving data mining and transformation. An experience in the Financial Sector or in Asset Management would be an advantage
- RPA and SQL knowledge and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong analytical skills with an efficient and results-oriented approach
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships within a team
- Fluency in English. French and/or German would be considered as an asset
