Finance process TOM and system Senior Manager (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

The world of Banking and Capital Market industry is changing. Digital solutions, new ways to operate and an evolving regulatory framework are some of the main challenges private banks are facing today. Our Banking Strategy & Operations Team is hiring a Senior Systems Accountant, to take part to this transformation in advising major financial institutions and global organizations on their business strategy, processes and operations.

Your next challenge

• Providing in-depth advisory services on accounting information systems
• Sharing field experience, best practices and market knowledge with internal and external clients
• Driving teams in the building of robust banking financial systems and processes
• Driving the assessment of existing accounting frameworks and to the selection of 3rd party vendors
• Leading and delivering client engagements that identify, design and implement creative business solutions for our Banking clients 
• Developing cohesive conclusions and participating in the report writing, analysis and presentation of results to clients  Managing teams of consultants on various assignments including banking process reengineering, reviewing gap analyses and suggesting "To Be" processes/solutions, and defining innovative strategies to help our clients tackle in their challenges  
• Cultivating effective and trusted client relationships and pursuing new client opportunities while constantly building your market eminence with the support of our network of experts on banking topics, technologies, trends, regulations, innovations, etc. of your interest

Your skills

• A Master degree in Accounting, Accounting information systems, Finance or a related area 
• At least 5 to 8 years' experience in accounting or finance in the Banking industry or in projects such as: T24, Avaloq or similar systems implementation or change, digitalization of financial processes, accounting standards application in a retail/private/corporate/investment bank or within a professional services firm  
• Strong client focus approach with the ability to establish and develop lasting and trusting relationships with new and existing clients  
• Excellent analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mind-set  
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong team and client relationships  
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment  
• Fluency in English and French. German is a strong asset
• Have Program/Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, PgMP, MSP)
