What you will do

• Use your expertise and experience to deliver high-quality regulatory risk services to global asset managers of liquid and alternative investment funds. 
• Assist our investment management clients in the design, review, and implementation of their risk management framework, covering market, liquidity, credit, counterparty, valuation, and sustainability risks.
• Support risk management activities with ad-hoc advice, guidance, training, or secondment opportunities.
• Assist your Managers in leading a diverse team of talented consultants, investing in the development of staff and coaching them to their highest potential.
• Monitor new regulations, market practices, and trends (such as liquidity risk, sustainability risks, digital assets) by interacting regularly with our clients, regulators, industry bodies, and peers.
• Cultivate a network of client counterparts, support your stakeholders with technical knowledge, and develop new business relationships in line with our client-centric values.
• Collaborate with other service lines on internal initiatives.
• Participate in the identification of business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of our Capital Markets Department in specific areas of Investment Risk Management.

Who you are

• Hold a master's degree in finance, risk management, or business engineering.
• Have at least 4 years' experience in the financial sector (management company, asset manager, professional services firm) in a risk management or valuation position.
• Have strong knowledge of investment funds (liquid and alternative), financial instruments, risk models and metrics, non-financial risks.
• Have proven experience with the different regulations impacting the fund industry.
• Have an appetite for serving clients, sharing knowledge, and growing on a continuous basis.
• Are team players and leaders, coaching and developing others.
• Have the ability to prioritize issues in a result-oriented manner, structure, and lead client projects.
• Have excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Are fluent in English and French or German is an asset.
