Your next challenge
  • Direct engagement planning, organizing, budgeting, audit plan execution, and documentation of audit procedures performed
  • Conduct an audit under the PCAOB Auditing Standards, financial statement audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404, SOX readiness, IT controls, and SSAE16 audits
  • Analyze client IT environment, identify risks and evaluate controls
  • Execute interviews with management to document business cycle processes as well as to ascertain effectiveness of company entity level controls
  • Design and implement technical and general computer IT audits, systems development, conversion, and application control reviews, including process and procedure, documentation, control identification, test plan creation and execution, and executive reporting
  • Perform in-depth control assessments, document test requirements, and suggest remediation alternatives where necessary
  • Utilize ERP and mainframe technologies, including SAP, Windows, AS/400, UNIS/AIX, DB2, and MS SQL
  • Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability
Your skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
  • Two years of experience leading IT audits of large public companies
  • Five years of experience reviewing information technology controls testing including SAP
  • Experience in testing controls in accordance with Public Accounting Company Oversight Board (PCAOB), SOX, ISAE3402/SSAE16, and third party vendor requirements
  • Specialization in IT applications (including SAP and Oracle), infrastructure and operating systems (including Unix, Windows, and Mainframe), databases (including SQL, Oracle, DB2), and network environments
  • Experience in conducting SAP ERP application analysis of Segregation of Duties (SOD), and Sensitive Access to evaluate whether the roles and privileges assigned to business and IT users cause violations or conflicts in the financial accounting and reporting process
  • Proven experience in team management and conflict management
