IT Project Manager for our Internal IT Department

Your future team

You will integrate a team of project managers dedicated to internal projects throughout the firm to deliver technological solutions.

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the IT project team’s activities and deliverables, ensuring they are all completed on time and on budget, and aligned to the client’s strategic business goals. He/she is responsible for interfacing with clients, being the liaison between the client and internal delivery team. This is all done in alignment with the IT department’s goals and vision.

How you'll contribute to our success

• Lead and develop high‑performing teams by providing challenging, meaningful opportunities and clear priorities aligned to client objectives.  
• Deliver exceptional client service as the main day‑to‑day point of contact, managing communications, expectations and issue escalations.  
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, creating timelines, facilitating delivery team meetings and ensuring alignment between client goals and actionable tasks.  
• Monitor and report on budgets, profitability and scope, proactively addressing scope creep, budget overages and efficiency issues, and forecasting/allocating resources.  
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies (waterfall or agile) in line with Deloitte’s governance, while leading by example and building strong, confident relationships.

Your skills

Must have

• 2–8 years of relevant IT project management experience, including execution and management of infrastructure & technological projects.
• Strong client management and relationship‑building skills; experience facilitating interactions among stakeholders.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with various technical teams and managing multiple projects.
• Ability to rapidly acquire business requirements and translate them into technical solutions with architects, cybersecurity, compliance and procurement teams.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and ITIL processes; work autonomously within a team; proficient with MS Office, planning tools and virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Skype, Zoom).

Nice to have

• Formal project management experience in structured environments (e.g. PMO or large programs).
• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops and stakeholder meetings (business and IT) with clear outcomes.
• Experience in capacity planning and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Exposure to governance frameworks and processes around IT risk, compliance and change management.
• Certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis, Service Management, Architecture, IT frameworks, or relevant technical domains.
