Accounting Operations Advisory (AOA) helps clients leverage rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to solve the most complex of problems by supporting our clients in the betterment of financial processes and reporting for managerial decision making. The AOA team’s unique skills combine technical accounting expertise with operational experience to improve and optimize the entire financial reporting cycle; across people, processes, technology, controls and accounting requirements.


Your next challenge 

You will:

  • Participate in diagnosis projects, in which you will analyse and evaluate the level of maturity of our clients’ Finance processes and reporting and assist them in conducting “gap analysis” to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply latest technologies, in terms of process mining and business intelligence, for performing in-depth analysis regarding our clients’ financial processes.
  • Collaborate with our clients in designing their "to be" requirements pertaining to their Finance and Controlling digital landscape, procedures, and organization, including the development of scalable and efficient data models for financial reporting.
  • Assist our clients in selecting digital solutions for their finance function that fit their operating model and technological landscape while also advising them during the implementation.
  • Design and implement dashboards and KPIs to improve our clients’ internal controls and managerial controls.
  • Actively expand your skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients.
  • Complete successfully the internship and have the opportunity to become an effective part of the AOA team as Junior Consultant (full-time job)


Required qualifications

  • You are enrolled in and are about to complete a master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • Be a self-starter, keen to learn and build expertise
  • Have a keen interest and understanding of technology in finance (e.g.: RPA, Business Intelligence, Accounting and Consolidation software, etc.).
  • Show excellent analytical capabilities, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Be fluent in English and demonstrate exceptional communication skills (oral, written and visual).

Desired qualifications

  • Knowledge of French, German and/or Luxembourgish languages.
  • Prior financial management or accounting IT consulting professional experience.
  • Experience gathering functional requirements.
  • Any Project Management certification or software usage accreditation.
  • Hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or other titles.
