Our Sustainability Assurance team in Luxembourg is looking for a motivated intern to join us. As part of our wider Audit & Assurance function, our team works with clients across industries to assess and enhance their ESG reporting, non-financial data measurement, and sustainability-related controls. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a rapidly growing field and contribute to shaping the future of sustainability assurance.

Your Next Challenge

As an intern in our Sustainability Assurance team, you will:

• Assist in evaluating ESG key performance indicators, sustainability reports, and green bonds to enhance confidence and compliance with relevant standards.

• Support the non-financial ESG and sustainability data measurement, collection, consolidation, and reporting.

• Contribute to audit readiness services by performing regulatory gap analysis and assisting clients in meeting sustainability disclosure requirements.

• Work with international and national clients to improve ESG-related processes and internal controls.

• Collaborate with audit teams to assess ESG compliance with evolving regulations and standards (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, ISSB, and others).

• Conduct peer benchmarking and best practice research to help clients stay ahead in sustainability reporting.

• Participate in business development efforts by preparing materials and proposals for new opportunities.

• Build strong client relationships and develop expertise in sustainability assurance through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Your Skills

• You are enrolled in or about to graduate with a Master’s degree in sustainability, finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.

• You have a keen interest in sustainability reporting, ESG regulations, and non-financial assurance.

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and an ability to translate analysis into practical solutions.

• You are fluent in English (French, German, or Luxembourgish would be an advantage).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); knowledge of data analytics tools is a plus.

• You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about sustainability assurance and reporting frameworks.
