Our Assurance team is looking for individuals to join us in Luxembourg. The Assurance business forms part of our wider Audit and Assurance function, and due to our exciting growth we want to speak with people who have a passion for finance, accounting advisory, ESG reporting and advisory and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Our services focus on assisting a wide range of clients, on a wide range of services including improving confidence in an organisation's purpose, leadership and actions for sustainable value creation and providing accounting advisory under different GAAPs including IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP. Our services also help organisations improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their sustainability-related processes and controls, including in relation to suppliers and business partners, and seize opportunities around sustainability that result in improved business performance and increased stakeholder's trust.

Our clients include companies across various sectors, as well as public and international organisations.

Your next challenge

You will be part of a team that:

• Acts as a business partner to clients and having strong customer-facing roles
• Is involved in projects with international and national clients to improve their financial reporting function, supporting them in complex transactions and establishing or improving their internal controls environment
• Provides clients with management accounting services
• Assists and advises clients on improving their financial processes and internal controls
• Drafts and compiles financial statements for clients under various GAAP (IFRS, LUX GAAP, US GAAP);
• Supports the audit teams of Deloitte by reviewing the compliance of the financial statements prepared by our clients with the requirements of different GAAP (IFRS, LUX GAAP, US GAAP) and those of the related industries (banking, financial and fund regulations as well as requirements impacting public interest entities);
• Provides assurance on ESG key performance indicators, sustainability reports, green bonds and others
• Supports non-financial ESG and Sustainability data measurement, collection, consolidation and enhanced reporting
• Assists clients with audit readiness services on regulatory requirements and gap analysis towards specific standards and market practices
• Builds strong client relationships, internal networks and contribute to new business proposals

Your skills

• You have graduated with a Master's or a Bachelor's degree in economics or finance or accounting (similar field)
• You are curious and willing to dive into new areas such as accounting technology, analytics, project management, etc.
• You are fluent in English (French and/or German and/or Luxembourgish will be an advantage)
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and ability to transform analysis into practical solutions
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships
