We are looking for individuals to join our dynamic team in our Assurance business in Luxembourg. The Assurance business forms part of our wider Audit and Assurance function, and due to our exciting growth we want to speak with people who have a passion for finance and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

You will apply core finance and accounting knowledge in providing finance leaders with advice and assurance across all their accounting and financial reporting needs. Our projects, which span a wide range of industries, include:

• Providing practical and pragmatic accounting solutions as our accounting environment is growing ever more complex
• Improving the effectiveness and performance of finance functions by reviewing closing, and reporting processes and assisting with the implementation of best practices
• Supporting clients with the implementation, review and optimization of finance operations for their day-to-day activities
• Assist client's Finance with analysing and identifying areas of improvement/automation in their orgainisation, processes, IT systems and reporting
• Designing functional models to improve management control and reporting
• Supporting our clients in evaluating the feasible technical alternatives and impacts that come with each of them
• Collaborating with client's management and developers' teams to clarify accounting and finance requirements and support project management
• Demonstrating an appetite to continuously improve functional and technical processes as well as the ways of working.

You will:

• Have the opportunity to take on customer-facing functions in projects 
• Be involved in projects with national and international clients to improve their financial reporting function, support them in complex transactions and establish or improve their internal controls environment

Your skills

• You are enrolled in or have completed a Master's or a Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, accounting systems or any other relevant discipline
• You have some experience in audit/accounting advisory and / or a solid background in accounting
• You possess strong analytical skills and you are able to work under pressure (when needed)
• You demonstrate strong problem solving skills - Ability to “find it” and “fix it”
• You are curious and willing to dive into new areas, such as accounting technology, analytics, project management, etc
• You have proven competence with Microsoft Office tools (proficient in PowerPoint and Excel/Access)
• Knowledge of design and implementation of software (BI, CPM and RPA; familiarity with ERP, CRM and other SW) and coding (SQL, Python, R, etc.) are highly desirable
• Fluent in English as well as French or German, any other language would be an asset
