Capital Markets is our very own dedicated department, part of the Consulting and Advisory Investment Management (IM) and Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) practice , specialized in advisory and reporting solutions primarily for the asset management sector. Our missions include valuation of financial derivative instruments, delivery of risk, performance and costs analytics for investment funds, as well as risk advisory and regulatory risk reporting for investment funds. We also provide advisory quantitative expertise to the banking and insurance industry sector.
What you will do
- Assist our investment managers clients in the production of risk transparency reporting for their institutional investors
- Liaise with different stakeholders to collect, review and validate input data required for each reporting
- Design innovative processes, computation libraries or workflows to improve data management capabilities, pricing libraries, reporting analytics, quality and efficiency
- Develop and grow an expertise in quantitative modelling and pricing of financial assets and financial derivative instruments
- Develop an expertise in the regulations impacting institutional investors (e.g. CRR II and Solvency II)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our fund reporting platform using the latest technologies, ensuring it meets evolving client needs and regulatory requirements
- Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues via the preparation and facilitation of internal training sessions
Who you are
- Hold a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics to Finance, or IT applied to Finance or Capital Markets.
- Strong proficiency in robust Python programming (including type-checked Python)
- Experience with the Pythons scientific stack (numpy, pandas, scipy), and graphing libraries (e.g. matplotlib)
- Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a team.
- Show curiosity and eagerness to develop a good understanding of the investment funds industry
- Be rigorous, quality driven, result-oriented with excellent analytical and synthetic skills.
- Having a first experience or internship in the financial sector industry is an asset.
- Be fluent in English. French or German is considered an asset
