Our internal legal department plays an important role in ensuring high quality standards, protecting Deloitte’s reputation and managing the risks associated with the business developed by Deloitte. As legal counsel within the internal legal department, you will assist the business team in negotiating contracts, strive for cutting-edge solutions and advice on regulatory developments and also help in ensuring Deloitte’s activities complies with applicable regulations.

 

Your next challenge

 

  • Draft and negotiate clients contracts as well as agreements with providers.
  • Advise the business on a broad range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters in providing comprehensive and pragmatic advice.
  • Providing general legal advice on applicable laws and regulations and on all Firm policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in local and global legal initiatives.
  • Coaching of more junior members of the internal legal department.
  • Contribute to internal projects and data protection matters.
 
 

Your skills

 

  • Master's degree in Law, with 5-7 years of strong professional experience as in-house lawyer in an “international environment” or law firm, with focus on contracts. Experience with tax law is an advantage
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and obtain information to reach sound conclusions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Team player with ability to interact with multiple levels in an organization in an international environment.
  • Problem solver with a positive mind-set and cam-do attitude who shows flexibility.
  • Service-oriented and results-focused.
  • English (fluent, spoken and in writing) and French. German considered as an advantage.
