Your future team
Our Transfer Pricing & Economics team is composed of professionals of more 15 different nationalities, with many years of combined practical experience on transfer pricing and economic analyses.
What you will do
• Produce high quality quantitative research, with a view to provide transformative insights
• Prepare both quantitative and qualitative studies, by applying established and recent economic theories on various competition issues
• Apply economic approaches to market definition, market power assessment, prediction of merger effects, and estimation of damages
• Perform economic evaluations of (horizontal and vertical) agreements, mergers, and abuse of dominant position
• Assess the regulatory risk of a firm's conduct
• Develop analytical models by using creative problem solving skills and/or statistical modelling techniques
• Structure potential anti-competitive claims and/or defences in an economically coherent way
• Critically evaluate economic analysis and submissions in competition matters
• Review and understand the key economic considerations behind landmark competition cases
• Support in the development of the Competition Economics practice in the team
• Required to communicate effectively with the Partners and the firm's professional and support staff
What about you
• Graduated from university in Economics or from a business school
• At least 2-4 year experience in the field of competition economy within a regulatory agency, competition authority, law firm, economic consultancy firm, corporation international organization, public institution
• Fluency in English is a necessity, French is considered an asset but not mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including both technical and business writing, deliverable preparation, documentation and presentation skills
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, listening and interpersonal skills
• Well organized and ability to multi-task
• Requires a high level of maturity, professionalism, initiative, integrity and confidentiality
• Creativity, the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
• Ability to synthesize information and produce concise synopses/summaries
• Ability to work well in a culturally diverse team-oriented environment and independently
