Marketing Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager with at least 6 years of experience using Marketo to oversee the governance of Deloitte Luxembourg’s Marketo integration. This person’s key responsibilities will include defining a clear development roadmap, assuring automation quality testing, and managing the daily operations of marketing activities in Marketo. 
 

Marketing operations

  • Develop the marketing automation platform roadmap
  • Recommend marketing technology infrastructure strategies aligned with budget and business needs
  • Support in defining the platform’s operational governance and oversee implementation, integration and training
  • Design, test and refine Marketo marketing automation workflows to enhance lead nurturing, segmentation, and scoring
  • Collaborate with various teams to synchronize marketing activities, encompassing events management and technology integrations
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of the database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Employ data analysis to address bottlenecks in the marketing pipeline 
  • Ensure data hygiene and quality within Marketo by establishing, communicating and enforcing data governance policies in alignment with GDPR
  • Manage the execution of data enrichment tactics within Marketo
  • Develop Marketo reporting and implement strategies for tracking web analytics
  • Oversee the planning and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns using Marketo, from ideation to analysis
  • Use A/B testing to optimize campaign performance and conversion rates
  • Implement and manage UTM parameters for accurate campaign attribution
  • Support the internal teams with education on marketing processes related to Marketing OPS
  • Serve as Admin for Marketo, managing user access, permissions, and system configurations
  • Stay current on Marketo updates and new features, implementing best practices to maximize platform capabilities

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing Ops, preferably Marketo 
  • Proven experience in marketing operations, analytics, and administration of Marketo in a B2B environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, matrix environment
  • Strong problem-solver with a growth/agile mindset
  • Proactive, passionate and spirited team player who can balance collaboration with autonomy
  • Comfortable communicating with various levels of stakeholders and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Marketo certifications such as Marketo Qualified/Certified Professional or Marketo Certified Architect, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Advanced writing, editing, and communication skills in English -- French or German fluency is a plus

You have experience building audience-centric email and digital journeys with advanced email platforms. You know what it takes to craft engaging emails and how to tell a story with just a few words or images. You thrive on being part of a creative team and helping to attract and engage our target audience. You are eager to develop deeper expertise in digital marketing and will be responsible for implementing and refining our email marketing strategy, building campaigns, and reporting on results while applying best practices.
