Odoo Technical Consultant / Senior Consultant (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Our Odoo team is growing and looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our team. Your main task will be to oversee the development and implementation of ERP Odoo solutions for our clients. You will be the primary technology contact for the client, leading the design, solution implementation and development project phases. Therefore, it’s crucial that you have a good understanding of custom development of Odoo modules as well as their maintenance.

Your next challenge

Your role will cover the following areas:

• Acting as the primary technology contact for the client by providing technical walk-through to Odoo developers and client features owners
• Being responsible for Odoo technical delivery, covering various tasks: solution design and development, system testing co-ordination, technical documentation and deployment activities
• Leading Epics/User stories review process, converting functional requirements to technical requirements, estimating user stories, planning team capacity
• Analysing/identifying gaps in functional/business requirements, discussing required changes with functional and product owners
• Migrating changes from the development environment to the test environment and then further - to the production environment 
• Developing and integrating end-to-end Odoo solutions using customized modules or the Odoo Studio module
• Documenting all changes and supporting in maintaining the project quality and risk plans, and tracking progress against plans
• Providing technical leadership on projects by ensuring necessary guidance and coaching to junior team members
• Assisting with client presentations and proposal creation when required

Your skills

• At least 5 years of IT experience with no less than 2-3 years of Odoo project experience
• A Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field
• A solid Odoo customization, configuration and migration experience
• Object-oriented programming skills and technical knowledge in Python, JavaScript, XML
• Odoo certifications, at least one of the latest versions (v13, v14, v15)
• Hands-on configuration experience with Odoo Studio module
• Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.
• A thorough understanding of Odoo Deployment Process and tools 
• Ability to multi-task and lead development teams within an Agile environment to ensure timely software development deliverables
• Fluency in both English and French. German will be considered an asset
