Company:  Deloitte Luxembourg
Job Function:  Consulting Services
Seniority:  Manager levels
Contract Type:  Open-term

Your future team

As a Operate process engineer for Risk Reporting, you will drive the modernization of fund and regulatory reporting processes, focusing on process redesign, automation, data governance, and operating model efficiency.
You will act as a hands-on bridge between fund reporting teams, business stakeholders, and technology teams, ensuring that transformation initiatives are grounded in real reporting needs, regulatory constraints, and operational realities.

Your role prioritizes process standardisation, automation, data quality, and control frameworks. AI-powered solutions will be introduced where relevant, once solid foundations in data, controls, and workflows are in place. The objective is to deliver practical, measurable improvements in reporting accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.

Your advantages of being one of us

  • Clear fund industry reporting leader: Work at the heart of fund and risk reporting transformation for leading asset managers and financial institutions.
  • Transformation with Impact: Lead tangible improvements across reporting processes, controls, and data governance—not just conceptual change.
  • Empowered & Collaborative Culture: Join a team where expertise is valued, decisions are close to delivery, and collaboration is key.
  • Flexible & Sustainable Ways of Working: Benefit from flexible working arrangements supporting long-term performance and balance.
  • Strong Professional Network: Build lasting relationships across the fund industry, Deloitte network, and client organisations.

Your contribution to our success

  • Lead the end-to-end transformation of fund and regulatory reporting processes, from current-state assessment to implementation.
  • Drive process automation, standardisation, and control enhancement, improving efficiency, accuracy, and auditability of reporting outputs.
  • Define and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, lineage, ownership, and consistency across reporting chains.
  • Translate regulatory and business reporting requirements into scalable operational and technology solutions.
  • Identify and scale high-value transformation initiatives, including advanced analytics and AI use cases once core processes and data foundations are stabilised.

Your skills

Must have

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Data, or Information Systems.
  • Experience: 4-8 years of experience in fund industry or banking reporting, with a strong focus on process transformation, regulatory reporting, or risk reporting.
  • Core competencies: Proven ability to lead complex transformation initiatives, strong stakeholder management, structured problem-solving, and delivery mindset.
  • Automation & Data: Experience with reporting automation, data governance frameworks, and operating model optimisation.
  • Technical skills: Python experience is a strong plus, especially for data analysis, automation, or reporting enhancements.

Nice to have

  • Financial & quantitative expertise: Strong understanding of financial instruments, financial risk concepts, and demonstrated quantitative affinity to analyse, challenge, and improve reporting processes and data.
  • Advanced solutions: Exposure to AI or advanced analytics applied to reporting, controls, or data quality use cases.
