Procurement Legal Counsel (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Your future team

Our internal legal department plays an important role in ensuring high quality standards, protecting Deloitte’s reputation and managing the risks associated with the business developed by Deloitte. As legal counsel within the internal legal department, you will assist the business team in negotiating contracts, strive for cutting-edge solutions, advice on regulatory developments and also help in ensuring Deloitte’s activities complies with applicable regulations.

Your next challenge

As legal counsel, you will:

• Draft and negotiate procurement contracts and a large range of commercial agreements, such as IT related agreements.
• Advising the business on the contractual negotiations with a range of suppliers and partners of different sectors.
• Take an active part in decision-making related to legal and commercial matters to ensure that the agreements fit for the business’ needs.
• Contribute to internal knowledge development by developing and maintaining templates, toolkits and best practises

Your skills

• Ability to evaluate opportunities and risks related to commercial agreements.
• Good business sense.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Team player with ability to interact with multiple levels in an organization in an international environment.
• Problem solver with a positive mind-set and can-do attitude who shows flexibility.
• Service-oriented and results-focused.
• Master degree in Law and deep knowledge on Intellectual Property
• Between 3 and 5 years working experience: strong professional experience as in-house lawyer in an “international environment”, with focus on contracts.
• Language skills: English (fluent, spoken and in writing) and French.
