Quantitative Senior Consultant (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Our Capital Markets valuation experts are specialized in quantitative risk management and valuation of financial derivatives instruments and other complex products and structures for banks and investment funds.
- As an Assistant Manager of our quantitative team take part to its organization and to the supervision of the different tasks related to Financial Risk Management and Valuation of Financial Instruments
- Work on high quality process standard in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements (AIFMD Annex IV, MMFR Article 37, UCITS Risk Reporting) with a focus on the different risk metrics (Market, liquidity , credit risk, stress tests)
- With the support of your senior management, lead a diverse team of talented junior and senior consultants, developing them to their highest potential and support them in delivering exceptional client service
- Assist in the identification of new opportunities and build market strategies accordingly
- Bring your quantitative and IT expertise
- Offer your expertise and markets knowledge to steer the evolution of our quantitative framework
- Develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities
- Understand key objectives for clients and Deloitte; align people to objectives and set priorities and direction
- Hold a Master level in Finance, Engineering or Applied Mathematics with a strong willingness to develop an expertise in the financial sector
- Between 4 and 8 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in the financial sector and knowledge of related regulations.
- Have strong basics in at least one of the following domains: financial risk management, derivatives pricing and mathematic
- Demonstrate good basics of Matlab, Python, R
- Show an ability to work autonomously as well as being part of a team with a results-oriented attitude
- Agile and analytical
- Be a self-starter and self-learner
- Inspiring team leader, eager to coach and develop other
- Holding one or more certification such as CQF, FRM, CAIA is considered as a strong asset
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and synthetic skills
- Be fluent in English. French or German is considered an asset
