Our Risk and Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager is supporting the Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management and Control, the General Secretary and the other Conducting Officers in their responsibilities concerning DSO’ legal and regulatory compliance and risk management. In this role the Risk and Regulatory Compliance Assistance Manager will be involved in the operation of DSO’s Risk Management system, Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and in the oversight of DSO’s outsourcing relationships.

Your next challenge

  • Contributing to the identification, assessment, documentation and management of risks associated with the company’s current and proposed future business activities, including new products, new business relationships and any extension of operations or network on an international level;
  • Contribute to our oversight obligations on our providers;
  • Preparing our responses to due diligence inquiries from DSO clients;
  • Designing and maintaining risk policies and procedures;
  • Interacting with the internal and external audit and providing support to the implementation of recommendations;
  • Reporting to the Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management and Control, to the Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committee and to the Board of Managers;
  • Producing the Risk Assessment Report (RAR) for the CSSF on a yearly basis;
  • Maintaining the Business Continuity Management system, updating the Business Impact assessments and monitoring the compliance with client contractual obligations regarding BCM

Your skills

  • Hold a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration with a specialization in Risk Management or related field and possess minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (Compliance, Risk Management) ideally within a financial institution (bank, PSF, ManCo);
  • Distinguish yourself by your conceptual and analytical thinking, efficiency and results driven;
  • Have a strong attention to details and good organisational expertise;
  • Acquire new competencies and adapt quickly to new tasks and environments and work well within a multicultural team;
  • Pro-active hands-on working attitude, including taking responsibility outside own direct field of work;
  • Possess strong written communication skills able to formulate clear, concise and professional reports, explaining technical issues, within required timeframes;
  • Are able to handle private, sensitive, confidential information appropriately;
  • Possess solid research skills using the internet, knowledge databases and first-person interviews;
  • Possess experience in drafting policies and procedures;
  • Master the English language (fluent, spoken and in writing). French and German are considered as an asset;
  • Demonstrate a solid proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint).
