The Risk and Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager is supporting the Conducting Officers, the Chief Risk Officer, and the Risk & Regulatory Director with the operation of DSO’s Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management system, Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and in the oversight of DSO’s outsourcing relationships.

Your next challenge

  • Identify and assess risks associated with DSO’s current and proposed future business activities, including new products, new business relationships and any extension of operations or network on an international level;
  • Monitor these risks, report on their status, update the risks sheets and risks register;
  • Maintain and run a risk and regulatory compliance monitoring program, assessing adequacy and effectiveness of controls, policies and procedures; propose actions to address any deficiencies; execute agreed work plans and update policies and procedures as needed;
  • Identify relevant new regulations and analyse their impact for DSO;
  • Coordinate outsourcing relationships. Develop and execute a service providers oversight program;
  • Address oversight and due diligence inquiries from clients;
  • Maintain the Business Continuity Management System, updating the Business Impact assessments and monitor compliance with associated client contractual obligations;
  • Work with cross-functional teams (including: Service delivery, IT, Information Security, Legal, AML/KYC, HR) to run and continuously improve the PSF’s internal control, risk and business continuity management system;
  • Interact with internal and external auditors and provide support to the implementation of recommendations;
  • Prepare and facilitate risk committee meetings. Prepare annual and periodic reports for the Conducting Officers, the Board of Managers and CSSF (e.g. SAQ).

Your skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration (specialization in Risk Management or compliance is an asset);
  • At least 4 years of experience with compliance, regulatory risk management, prior experience with information security concepts;
  • Prior experience with PSF/CSSF requirements is a strong asset;
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking, efficiency and results driven;
  • Project Management skills;
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills;
  • Team player, stakeholders engagement skills;
  • Adapt quickly to new tasks and environments and work well within a multicultural team;
  • Autonomy, pro-active hands-on working attitude;
  • Strong written communication skills enabling controls documentation and production of clear and concise executive presentations and risk reports within required timeframes;
  • Solid proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint);
  • French and English speaker.
