Security and Network Engineer (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

With cutting-edge tools and emergent technologies, we empower our teams to succeed and access key information swiftly. As a security & network engineer, part of the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the following, among others:

Your next challenge

• Manage daily tasks (change, incident, troubleshooting…)
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Firewalls, Proxy, SIEM, Switch DC / campus…  as well as management tools.
• Manage and monitor the entire security infrastructure:  Mail GTW, Firewalls, ReverseProxy, Load balancer, IPS/IDS, WAF...
• Manage and monitor the entire network infrastructure:  switches, routers, access points, wlc, ISL…
• Pro-actively ensure the proper level of security and availability of our systems.
• Check the KPIs and make sure to respect the SLAs that have been defined.
• Carry out reporting, write procedures and all the documentation necessary for the proper management of the environment.
• Verify compliance of the systems with the standard security policy.
• Monitor system/application backups and redundancy strategies.
• Write and maintain PowerShell, Bash scripts and device-specific commands.
• In charge of the third level of support for solutions, troubleshooting of applications etc...

Your skills

• •  
• BS/MS degree in computer science.
• Relevant work experience in a security and network administrator role.
• Solid experience in the administration of firewalls (PaloAlto, CheckPoint, Fortinet...) and network equipment (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI).
• Good knowledge of Netskope Proxy, QRadar, Nginx is an advantage.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Very good writing skills in French and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Available and flexible to provide maintenance outside standard working hours.
• Rigorous, structured work methodology and a spirit of synthesis.
• Interest in new technologies and aware of the latest developments.
• Ability to work independently and an excellent team player.
• With an original, creative, curious and visionary mind, you know how to imagine and propose new solutions
