Senior Accountant for our Deloitte Private Tax & Accounting department (m/f/d)

Our Deloitte Private teams identify and understand the unique needs and challenges faced by private companies and can provide them with all-round tailored services. By joining the human sized Tax & Accounting team of Deloitte Private, you will have the ability to deploy our integrated and tailored approach and to become our clients’ trusted advisor for accounting & tax services.

Your next challenge 

For a diversified client portfolio and with the help of your manager and a team, you will be

• Handling all day-to-day bookkeeping activities for our local clients 
• Preparing financial statements and periodic reports in Luxembourg Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP)
• Preparing the legal documents in relation with approval of the financial statements
• Preparing periodic and yearly VAT returns
• Calculating tax provisions and preparing direct tax returns
• Sharing your experience while advising your clients on their specific financial queries
• Liaising with clients' management, finance teams and auditors

Your skills

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a fiduciary or service provider firm
• Relevant experience in dealing with commercial companies
• Strong knowledge of accounting, income tax and VAT rules and principles
• A previous experience in coaching junior team members
• Distinguish yourself by your organizational skills, flexibility and ability to meet strict deadlines
• You are an IT literate, knowledge of BOB 50 is an asset
• Commit yourself and share your know-how with the team
• Fluent in French with a good level in English. Luxembourgish and/or German will be considered an asset.
