Consultant/Senior Consultant –Internal Audit and Advisory Services – Insurance and Reinsurance

As part of the Risk Advisory practice, the professionals in our Internal Audit practice are recognised as experts in the market place and within the Deloitte global network, offering a full range of internal audit, regulatory and compliance advisory services that enable our clients to improve the quality and efficiency of their processes while ensuring full compliance with the latest regulatory requirements.
Your next challenge
As part of the Internal Audit team dedicated to Insurance / Reinsurance industry, you help our prestigious clients (Life / Non-Life undertakings, Reinsurance undertakings) to:
- Perform internal audit and ISAE 3402/3000 assignments;
- In the context of internal audit assignments, perform risk assessments, develop internal audit plans, organise and execute internal audit fieldworks, develop and issue internal audit reports;
- Conduct assessments of operational, financial or business risks;
- In the context of Governance / Internal control / Risk management quality reviews, identify, develop and test internal control measures to ensure that our clients’ business processes are efficient, effective and compliant
- Improve or develop management and operational reporting to monitor processes and risks
- Facilitate change for organisations and advise our clients on ways of improving their decision making, organisation structure, operation processes, financial analysis related risk management and internal control environment;
- Support occasionally financial entities under CSSF supervision.
Your skills
- Master's degree in business administration, finance, civil engineering or from a business school;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the insurance / reinsurance industry in a Compliance, Risk Management, Internal audit role; Consulting & advisory experience ideally in a Consulting/Big 4 firm considered as an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg/Commissariat aux Assurances and European laws, regulations and circulars applicable to Insurance / Reinsurance industry a must-have;
- Professional qualifications (ideally CIA) considered as an asset ;
- Proven creativity with the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions;
- Excellent organisational skills and focus on delivery;
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build strong team and client relationships;
- Fluent in English and a second language (French or German). Additional languages considered an asset.
