Senior Consultant/Manager - Strategy & Business Design (m/f/d) - Job based in Luxembourg

Your future team

As a Senior Consultant/Manager at Deloitte Luxembourg, you will lead teams of typically 3-5 professionals to address complex clients’ most important challenges and driving impactful business strategic transformations. Within our Strategy Team, you will oversee the development of strategies and actionable recommendations to help clients achieve their most critical and strategic goals.
 

Your next challenge

• Strategic Business Design: Collaborate with teams to define key business capabilities and target operating models aligned with strategic goals. Design ecosystems and processes to enhance market positioning and operational excellence using data insights.

• Growth Strategy: Develop implementable growth strategies to boost revenue, manage costs, improve profitability, and build sustainable market leadership.

• Market Entry Strategy: Support market entry strategic decision with detailed research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation. Develop entry strategies by assessing risks and selecting optimal approaches (e.g. greenfield,  joint ventures or targeted acquisitions).

• Value Enhancement Planning: Define value enhancement strategies to boost value creation and overall return to shareholders. Identify optimization areas, streamline resources, and prioritize initiatives for sustainable gains.

• Post-Merger Integration: Ensure M&A investment cases get delivered by developing implementation strategies for seamless Post-Merger Integration (PMI) that unify operations, cultures, and systems, focusing on synergies and process optimization. Address integration challenges, align priorities, and ensure long-term success.

What You Will Do:

• Lead Project teams: Lead teams in delivering complex strategies, ensuring timely, on-budget execution. Mentor junior consultants and oversee the quality of analysis, recommendations, and deliverables.

• Problem-Solving, Recommendations and Synthesis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of markets, competition, and operations to identify strategic opportunities and challenges. Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

• Strategy Design & Implementation: Develop and implement strategies that align with client goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define initiatives and optimize processes, ensuring successful execution.

• Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to align team efforts with their strategic objectives. Ensure client satisfaction to secure long-term partnerships.

• Risk & Change Management: Identify risks to strategy execution and lead clients through change management processes to minimize disruption and ensure success.

What About You:

• Educational Background: You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Engineering or a related field

• Professional Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in strategy development, business design, or market analysis. Prior management or leadership experience is crucial.

• Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is essential

• Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse teams, manage client relationships, and drive strategic initiatives
