Accounting Operations Advisory (AOA) helps clients leverage rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to solve the most complex of problems by supporting our clients in the betterment of financial processes and reporting both for regulatory and managerial decision making. Within AOA, the Audit & Assurance Analytics team’s focus is to integrate data analyses and data-driven methods in all areas of the audit and assurance related services and to shape the transformation of our services towards a digital and data-driven future.

Your next challenge

Your role will involve supporting the Audit & Assurance Analytics team’s in all its multifaceted forms:

• Part of a young, motivated team and work independently on innovative projects in the field of big data and financial data analytics
• Work with our local and global teams on the development and implementation of audit and financial analytics tools
• Responsible for developing roll-out strategies for our global audit analytics tools
• Independently support the data-driven analysis of finance processes with process mining
• Plan, manage and monitor the processing and analysis of large structured and unstructured data for our audit teams and client’s finance teams
• Creation of visual representations of financial data that clearly identify and communicate insights through charts and graphs to help decision-makers make better, data-based decisions
• Work with other service lines on a national and international level

Your skills

• Successfully completed university studies in economics, (business) informatics, (financial) engineering, (business) mathematics or a comparable course of study
• Knowledge of accounting, auditing or finance in general and several years of practical experience in the field of financial data analytics/business intelligence
• Confident handling of database systems as well as experience in the areas of software development and data modelling (coding: SQL, Python, BI tools, … - algorithms: regression, clustering, random forest, …)
• Very good command of English and strong communication skills. Knowledge of German, French and/or Luxembourgish is an asset.
• Team spirit and a solution-oriented, independent and self-reliant way of working
• Experience managing agile projects and teams.
