We are looking for individuals to join our dynamic team in our Assurance Services business in Luxembourg. The Assurance business forms part of our wider Audit and Assurance function, and due to our exciting growth potential we want to employ people who have a passion for regulatory compliance and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

 

You will apply Anti-Money Laundering / Combatting Terrorist Financing (“AML/CTF”) knowledge in providing clients with AML assurance and insight. Our projects, which span a wide range of industries but primarily in the funds industry, include:

 

  • Assessing client AML/CTF and sanction risks
  • Reviewing and inspecting client AML/CTF policies and procedures against Luxembourg AML/CTF and sanction requirements to ensure that they are suitably designed and implemented
  • Testing Know Your Customer ("KYC")  compliance on investor accounts
  • Support to the Audit teams on all AML related topics
  • Creating and delivering training modules
  • Support to our Consulting teams on activities such as performing transaction monitoring "look backs" pursuant to regulatory orders, KYC remediations, internal investigations, and/or independent testing.

  • Lead the successful planning and execution of projects
  • Effectively manage engagement teams and mentor and develop junior members
  • Contribute to the growth of the team by creating a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains talents
  • Build strong client relationships, internal networks and play a significant part in new business proposals
  • Develop and lead timely communications - both internal and external - relevant to our professionals and client
  • Develop materials for and participate in the delivery of presentations to clients and firm personnel
  • Drive market and eminence initiatives, including development of new service offerings and marketing campaigns within the practice
  • Display a keen interest in industry trends and be able to identify business opportunities

Your skills

 

  • Hold a Bachelor Degree / Master Degree in Law or related field and possess 3 or more years of relevant work experience (Compliance Regulatory Affairs, AML/CFT) or relevant consulting in a Big4
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships
  • Have a solid experience with the documentation and review of AML processes and the identification of key controls
  • Sound understanding of fund industry specific regulatory requirements in relation to AML
  • Display strong operational skills - Ability to translate the “what is required” into the “how it’s done”
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of a business
  • Have a previous experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Demonstrate problem solving  - Ability to “find it” and “fix it”
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities
  • Demonstrate an interest or experience in technology as driver for change
  • Should be able to communicate effectively in English. Working in French or German is  considered as an asset.
