We are currently looking for a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our Advisory and Consulting Group (ACG) Quality and Risk Management (QRM) Team.

 

What you will do :
 

  • Coordinate quality and risk activities with different stakeholders throughout the application/platform development lifecycle to ensure adherence to local requirements and best practices
  • Support the definition and execution of test plans to ensure software quality, security and compliance with requirements
  • Support and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency in the QA process
  • Review identified software defects and documentation, and track resolution
  • Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of defects and monitor improvements deployment
  • Support performance, load, and stress testing to identify system limitations
  • Coordinate Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) checkpoints and Vendor Cybersecurity Risk (VCRA) Assessments
  • Coordinate Data Protection (DPAS) and Data Confidentiality and Privacy (DCPA) Assessments
  • Participate in application/platform risk assessments to prioritize efforts and ensure high-risk areas are adequately tested
  • Promote QA standards and best practices with the different stakeholders throughout the application / platform development life cycle including adherence to GTOM (Global Technology Operating Model) standards, to maintain high quality across all software deliverables

What about you :

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance of technologies such as .NET, Python, Node.js, React, and Angular
  • Knowledge and experience adhering to GTOM (Global Technology Operating Model) standards and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in the identification and resolution of defects
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities efficiently under pressure, and in a proactive manner
  • Team-oriented, dynamic, and people-focused
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of French or German is a strong asset
