Your future team

We are establishing a small, hands-on Transformation Office to help translate Deloitte Luxembourg's strategy into practical transformation choices and coordinated action regarding technology. Within this broader mandate, this role will focus particularly on Operating Model & Workforce transformation.

You will work closely with business leaders, People & Talent and Technology leaders to shape how we organize and operate our technology community, and how our workforce and capabilities need to evolve with the firm. The focus is on pragmatic organization design, workforce planning and change adoption, with a strong technology and AI anchor. The team is collaborative, non‑hierarchical and impact‑oriented.

The advantages of joining us

  • Help establish Deloitte Luxembourg's Transformation Office and shape pragmatic ways of working from the outset, while contributing directly to priority transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with HR, business leaders and senior leadership on high‑impact transformation topics.
  • Join a small, collaborative team where complementary expertise matters more than hierarchy.
  • Contribute to workforce‑ and AI‑enabled transformation in a non‑technical but highly strategic role.
  • Access top-notch training and clear career development opportunities within Deloitte.

How you’ll contribute to our success

  • Diagnose the current operating model and design target and transition models (capabilities, structures, roles, decision rights, governance, processes and interfaces).
  • Translate operating‑model choices into workforce implications, including capability gaps, sourcing options and reskilling needs, in partnership with People/HR.
  • More specifically, produce and validate role profiles with business leaders and People/HR, documenting each role’s purpose, key activities, accountabilities, scope and required skills.
  • Build and maintain a role-to-job-family mapping, assigning roles to the relevant job families, sub-families and levels; document classification and role-weighting criteria, resolve overlaps and validate the mapping with People/HR and Business Leaders.
  • Develop a role-based skills matrix specifying the skills and proficiency levels required to deliver the target operating model and strategic ambition; consolidate available capability data at role and job-family level, identify and prioritize gaps, and deliver a gap analysis with proposed reskilling, upskilling and sourcing actions in collaboration with learning department.
  • Prepare and validate structured inputs for salary benchmarking with People/HR and talent acquisition and reward specialists, including role content, job family, level, scope of responsibility, complexity, required expertise and relevant market context; document proposed matches to external benchmark roles, distinguish base salary from total compensation, and flag missing data or weak matches to support like-for-like comparisons rather than title-only matching.
  • Assess how technology, data, AI and automation may reshape activities, roles and controls, and convert insights into practical recommendations.
  • Define change impacts and help plan stakeholder engagement, communication and adoption to support successful implementation
  • Structure ambiguous transformation questions into clear options, trade-offs and practical recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Translate agreed choices into actionable roadmaps, clarifying ownership, dependencies, risks and measures of success, and remain involved through implementation support.

Your skills

  • Master’s degree in business, management, HR, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology or a related field.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience in enterprise or technology-enabled transformation, with demonstrated experience in operating-model, organization or workforce transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience working on technology-enabled transformation and translating technology change into implications for the organization, ways of working, roles and skills.
  • Practical understanding of how technology, data, AI and automation can affect operating models, activities, roles and skills, ideally supported by experience in technology-enabled transformation.
  • Confidence influencing without formal authority and facilitating constructive discussions on organization and people topics.
  • Sound business and commercial judgement, with the ability to assess organization and workforce choices against strategic priorities, value and implementation realities.
  • Professional fluency in English and French, with strong communication skills for both written materials and facilitation.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting or another complex, regulated or matrix environment, is a plus.
